The Zahrbock Funeral Home announces the death of 88-year-old Kay (Bergerson) Theis of New Ulm, MN formerly of Madison who passed away on February 7, 2026 at a New Ulm Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. February 17, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Madison, MN. Rev. Thomas Puffe will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. It will continue for an hour before the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.
Kay is survived by her children: Bret (Becky) Bergerson of Madison, MN, Brian (Cathy) Bergerson of Madison, MN, Randy (fiancé Lisa Larson) Bergerson of New Ulm, MN, Kathy (David) Heyer of New Ulm, MN and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mundwiler Funeral Home announces the death of 53-year-old Timmie Krause, of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Milbank, SD, who passed away on February 12, 2026. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Emanual Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Pastor Chris Davis will officiate, and inurnment will be at Milbank City Cemetery.
Surviving Timmie are his sister, Carol (Dale) Dorman of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers: Denny Krause of Milbank, SD; Gary Krause (Gloria Crist) of Milbank, SD; and Ron (Kim) Krause of Milbank, SD; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; along with many cousins and friends.
