Mundwiler Funeral Home announces the death of 78-year-old Nancy Bloem of Milbank, SD.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church in Milbank. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Chancellor First Baptist Cemetery, Chancellor, SD.

Nancy Bloem is survived by her husband, Lester Bloem of Milbank, SD; three sisters: Charlotte Johnson of Greenville, MI; Beverly Stanford and Cheryl (Mark) Meier of Sioux Falls, SD; one brother, Johnny Lindskov of Doland, SD; two sisters-in-law: Janeva Bray of Arlington Heights, IL; and Kaye (Ken) Dohn of Dallas, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home announces the death of Brenda McMahon, age 57, of Big Stone City, SD.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Ortonville, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Mound Cemetery in Ortonville.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Johnson; children: Lucinda (Jason) Oakes of Minneapolis, MN, and Preston McMahon of Key Largo, FL; 2 grandchildren; stepchildren: Heather Johnson of International Falls, MN; and James Johnson of Roseau, MN; 4 step-grandchildren:; siblings, Carol Cooper, Marge (Hank) Lubbesmeyer, Lori (Francis) Spors, Ceil (Ron) Hage, Johnny Karels, Mary (Greg) Peterson, Jimmy (Julie) Karels, Dennis (Karen) Karels, Janet Hedge; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the It Only Takes a Spark Cancer Walk of Grant County.

 

 

 

 

Mundwiler Funeral Home announces the death of 95-year-old, Doreen Schultz, of Revillo, SD, who passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Avantara-Milbank Nursing Home in Milbank, SD.  Memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Pastor Chris Davis will officiate, and inurnment will be at Revillo Cemetery at a later date.

Left to cherish Doreen’s memory are her children: Quentin (Marilyn) Schultz of River Falls, WI; Bradley (Laurie) Schultz of Pierre, SD; and Nancy (Wayne) Meyer of Revillo, SD; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; along with many nieces and nephews.  Mundwiler Funeral Home of Milbank is in charge of the arrangements for 95-year-old, Doreen Schultz, of Revillo,  SD.

 

 

 

The Zniewski Funeral Home Vaala Chapel of Appleton announces the death of 90 year old Wilma Marie Schreck of Appleton.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 20 at 10:30am at St. John’s Catholic Church in Appleton.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-7pm at St. John’s Catholic Church with a prayer service beginning at 6:30.  Visitation will continue prior to the service on Monday.  Burial will be at the Appleton City Cemetery.

 

 

 

 

Mundwiler Funeral Home announces the death of 94-year-old, JoAnn Mickelson, of Bloomington, MN, formerly of Wilmot, SD, who passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Founders Ridge Assisted Living in Bloomington.  Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilmot Lutheran Church in Wilmot, SD. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kay Reeb will officiate the service.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters: Jan (Cary) Schroeder of Brandon, SD; and Mary Kay (Greg) Schrank of Bloomington, MN; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.  Mundwiler Funeral Home of Milbank is in charge of the arrangements for 94-year-old, JoAnn Mickelson, of Bloomington, MN, formerly of Wilmot, SD.
