Mundwiler Funeral Home announces the death of 68-year-old, Steven Kimmel, of Overton, NV, and Wilmot, SD, who passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wilmot, SD, with Pastor Nathan Neugebauer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will take place at Wilmot Cemetery at a later date.
Steve is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children: Cody (Lani) Kimmel of Reno, NV; Lauren Kimmel of Overton, NV; and Nathan (Adriana) Widick of Las Vegas, NV; four beloved grandchildren; his mother, LaVerne Kimmel of Wilmot, SD; two sisters; one sister-in-law; two aunts; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. October 25, 2025 at the Bellingham Community Center. Officiating at the service will be great niece Pastor Katie Pauly. Graveside Services will be Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beardsley. Military honors will be provided by the William Krensing American Legion Post 58 of Browns Valley.
